MV BILLFISH is well renowned with the Cairns Game Fishing fleet and has been operating Deep Sea Game Fishing charters on the GREAT BARRIER REEF for many years. She has spent most of her game fishing days operating out of Cairns and further north along the Ribbons Reefs up to the Lizard Island and Ribbons Reef 10 area.

BILLFISH operates all year round, specialising in Giant Black Marlin Fishing during the months of September through December and Light Tackle Sports Fishing year round for species such as Spanish Mackerel, Yellowfin Tuna, Trevalley and Barracuda. Popper Casting is very popular for enthusiastic anglers in search of Giant Trevalley. Juvenile Black Marlin and Sailfish as well as Mahi Mahi, Wahoo and Cobia are predominant in our waters in the later months of the year when the water is the perfect temperature.
