Jervis bay is a huge mass of water approximately 3 times the size of Sydney Harbour and its surrounding land mass projects approximately 16km at its most eastern point further to sea than the rest of the coast line.

The Bay is constantly being washed through by oceanic currents and for this reason it has earned a reputation amongst game fisherman along the east coast of Australia and probably the world as one of the best land based game fishing spots in the world for Marlin.
